Peter Estlin, the Lord Mayor of the city of London, held a dinner party in Beijing on March 18 and representatives from Beijing Fund Town were invited to attend. As the UK’s ambassador for finance and professional services, the Lord Mayor Peter Estlin led a delegation of 13 innovative fintech companies to have a six-day visit to Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing.

After learning the information of Beijing Fund Town, government officials from financial city of London expressed that they are full of expectations for the development of Beijing Fund Town and look forward to having the opportunity to visit the town when they come to Beijing next year.

The city of London, one of the 32 counties of greater London, covers an area of 2.6 square kilometers. It is not only the economic center of the UK and London, but also the world’s leading financial, commercial and economic center, gathering a large number of financial institutions, such as banks, stock exchanges and the gold market.
