Beijing Fund Town Foundation celebrated its 1^st Anniversary at the Fangshan Children’s Welfare Centre on July 21, 2018. The children were brought with warm and happiness, making this anniversary more meaningful.

Beijing Fund Town, a government-backed fund industry cluster in the capital’s Fangshan District, has established its first official Public Welfare Foundation on July 21,2017, and donated RMB 1 million yuan ($154,000) to the Fangshan Children’s Welfare Centre.

Cao Lei, a member of Standing Committee of the CPC Fangshan District Committee and Director of Publicity Department, the leadership of Fangshan District Civil Affairs Bureau, Beijing Fund Town Public Welfare Foundation and the leadership of donating enterprises and caring volunteers jointly attended this activity.

Over the past year, the Foundation has shown concerns for the growth and mental health of children at the Welfare Centre, initiating the "Sun Flower-Metal Intervention Project” inside the orphanage, setting up a disabled and abandoned children station, promoting music art cultivation and organizing on many occasions, caring activities carried out by volunteers of the foundation for children at the Welfare Centre.

Children at the Welfare Centre used the donated African drums and learned different drumming skills to bring out a perfect performance for kind persons who participated in.

At the occasion of the 1^st anniversary, the Foundation has reviewed the past from the starting point of the Public Welfare Foundation, looked towards the future and continued undertaking social responsibilities, such as resolving social issues, carrying out good public welfare programs, caring about vulnerable groups so as to develop the public welfare and charity power for beautiful China dream.
