UNESCO’s evaluation group of experts and relevant domestic specialists summoned Fangshan Global Geopark Revalidation Report Meeting in International Convention Center of Beijing Fund Town to initiate the 3-day-long inspection and revaluation  activity on township areas and surroundings of the Global Geopark.

Guo Yanhong, Deputy Secretary and Chief Executive of Fangshan District of Beijing , gave reports to the experts on the work process of the Global Geopark from 2014 to 2018.

After listening to the report, Nikolaos·Zouros and Pablo Rivas, UNESCO’s experts, indicated that a lot of high-quality work had been conducted on the Global Geopark during the process and they would carry out field observation in the following three days.
