Project Launch of the “Sunflower Mind Caring Plan- Caring the Mental Health of Disadvantaged Children” sponsored by Beijing Fund Town

“Psychological Intervention Project for the Orphaned, Disabled and Abandoned Infants in the Children’s Station”, sponsored by Public Welfare Foundation of Beijing Fund Town, was officially launched on May 15 after signing the contract.

 

This project pays close attention to the mental health of children living in welfare houses and other orphaned and disabled children in the society. With the introduction of professional social service institutions, more specialized, personalized and diversified psychological care and help will be provided to disadvantaged children in the aspects of psychological counseling, interpersonal accommodation, educational guidance, and development plan. The move is intended to promote the children’s happy and healthy growth and assist them in fitting into society.

 

Public Welfare Foundation of Beijing Fund Town has been committed to charitable causes like helping the poor, the aged, the orphaned, the invalid, and dropout students. The foundation has launched“Sunflower Mind Caring Plan” since 2017, which aims to pay more attention to the children’s mental health and future development with the startups of multiple projects concerning music and art training as well as the psychological intervention within the children’s station. In the future, Beijing Fund Town will continue to integrate the power of all parties, focus on charitable causes, undertake social obligations, and strive to build a harmonious society.
