Between September 26 and 28, 2017, "Belt and Road Initiative: the 2nd Bridge Event of Developing Green Economies for Cities: Bridge for Cities" of the United States was held in the Vienna International Center. The Beijing Fund Town was invited to attend the event.

The event was jointly held by UNIDO and Finance Center for South-South Cooperation, with an aim to furthering the implementation of "One Belt and Road" initiatives. Governmental departments, economic industries, development organizations from totally 67 countries and 136 cities as well as 632 delegates from academic fields attended this event.

The UNIDO will draw on its own platform to pool various resources, cooperate with the world banks and other institutions, and build a cooperative bridge among cities along the route to boost the sustainable development of the industry.

In this event, Beijing Fund Town became the "Strategic Partner" of the UNIDO-UNEP Green Industry Platform.
