In response to the recent torrential rains that have persisted in Beijing, severely affecting Miyun District, the Beijing Fund Town Foundation has acted with urgency. Under the coordination of the Third Joint Party Committee of Beijing Foundations for Poverty Alleviation and Social Relief, and in alignment with the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau's call for assistance, the foundation promptly identified the hardest-hit townships. It swiftly procured over 1,700 essential relief items, including cooking oil, disinfectants, mosquito nets, flashlights, bedding, and thermos flasks—critical supplies for daily sustenance and health protection in the disaster zone. On July 31, escorted by the foundation's staff, these humanitarian supplies were successfully delivered to Shicheng Town, one of the most severely impacted areas.
