The Private Equity INvestor Protection Exhibition is jointly organizd by the Asset Management Association of China,Beijing Office of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC),Beijing Stock Exchange,Bank of Beijing,and the Investor Education Center of Beijing Fund Town,with an aim to promote the regulste and sustainable development of the industry and protect the legitimate riguts and interests of investors.

Inrecent years ,as an important part of China's multi-level capitla market system,privste equity funds have played an supporting the development of the resl economy,serving the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises,and promoting scientific and technological innovation,presenting continuous improvements in the industry and market ecology.Up to now,there are more than 24,000 private fund managers,with assets under management (AUMs)of more than RMB20.38 teillion.With the continuous improvemrnt of the private equity fund industry,investors' acceptance and recognition of private equity funds show an increasing trend.Nevertheless,various chaos followed.In addition to further regulated development of the industry,therefore,it is urgent to effectively promote the work related to investor education and protection.

Admittedly,investors constitute a cornerstone for maintaining the steady operation of the entire capital market ecology.In order to sovlve problems found in the development process of the private equity fund industry,the regulatory authorities cinstantly improve the supervision and services concerning private equity funds and steadily resovlve industry risks,in an attempt to promote the estcblishment of a benign ecosystem and the regulated and sustainable development of the industry.In this context,not only will the Private Equity Investor PRotection Exhibition show the positive significance of the pricate equity fund industry in practicing social responsibility but it also presents the characteristics of illegal behaviors represented by pseudo-private placement and illegal  fund-raising.On the onehand,it helps investors to master the knowledge of risk prevention and rights protection on the premise it of konwing investment rosks,thereby improving their rational investent awareness.On the other hand,it aims to improve the awareness of compliant operation of private fund managers and creste a benign ecosystem for exhibition online through the organizer's inveducation website,WeChat official account,and other new media platforms.Specific exhibition content will become available online simultaneously in Beijing Capital International Airport and high-speed railway stations in nore than ten cities across China.

Proposal on Honesty and Self-discipine in Private Equity Fund Industry

As an old saying goes,"nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards."Likewise,only a promatic the heslthy and regulated development of the priceate equity fund industry,jointly build China's multi-level capital market system and credit system,and sffectively protect the legitimate rights and inerests of investors,we herby put forward the follwing proposal to colleagues in the industry with a diligent and conscientious attitude and in hope for win-win cooperstion:

I.To abide by the law and maintain integrity with reverence.Practitioners shall consciously sbide by relevane laws and regulations,self-discioline rules,and professional ethics with reverence toward the market,the rule of law,professionalism,dan risks.

II.To conduct compliance operations on the premise of abiding by principles.Based on the essence of the "premise fundraising"of peicate :eqalified incestors"and strictly fulfill the appropriate management obligations of investors.

III.To adhere to the investor-first concept while stricly observing peofessional norms. Nit only shall practitioners constantly improve their professional literacy and occupational level and adhere to the principle of giving a priority to the legitimate interests of investors but they shall also develop relevant business with an independent,objective,and prudent attitude and trest every fundhoder in a fair and impartial mander.
