America's Greenwich Town is a globally-renowned hedge fund town, where many headquarters of famous hedge fund companies like AQR Capital Management, Viking Global Investor are located.

On December 8, 2015, Beijing Fund Town Management Committee went to America, meeting Peter J. Tesei, chief of Greenwich Town with the accompanied by Bruce McGuire, president of America Connecticut State Hedge Fund Association and Liu Jing, chairman of board in Winsor Global Company, which realized handshake between two fund town across the Pacific ocean.

During the meeting, Peter J.Tesei introduced the history of Greenwich, process, current state and reasons of agglomeration of the fund industry, answering questions put forward by Beijing Fund Town.

They also participated in the discussion with companies like small and medium size hedge fund company, Quadratic Capital, which managing over 400 million dollars, and the world's second largest hedge fund company AQR Capital Management, LLC (managing assets of 135.3 billion dollars).

Listening to condition introduction from various perspectives made by Bruce McGuire, president of America Connecticut State Hedge Fund Association, Miss Marcia O' Kane, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Greenwich Government, president, lawyers, accountants in Winsor Global Company.

Greenwich was established in 1640, with area of 124km2, population of 61,000, located 48km northeast of New York, being the portal for entering into New England area. For a long time, Greenwich is an agriculture town. It developed in the direction of non-agricultural economy in the beginning of 20th Century, especially after "911" event when lots of high-end finance talents in Manhattan, New York settled in Greenwich, headquarters of many financial institutions moving to Greenwich subsequently.

Greenwich is the portal for entering into New England with an important position. It's very close to Manhattan, New York, with a distance of only 48km, less than one hour by car and no more than 50min by train. It takes only 15 minutes to drive from Stanford. There are two expressways around the Greenwich Town as well as 5 airports and 4 train stations within 2 hours' drive. It only needs 50 minutes ride to New York by subway.
