A few days ago, the inaugural conference of the "Innovation China" Consortium, jointly initiated by 88 units, was held in Beijing. Beijing Fund Town attended the conference as a co-sponsor of the consortium. Huai Jinpeng - Secretary of the Leading Party Group, Executive Vice Chairman, and First Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences - attended the conference and delivered a speech; Zhou Ji, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was elected President of the First Council of "Innovation China" Consortium and delivered a speech. The conference was presided over by Lv Zhaoping, member of the Leading Party Group and Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology.

At the conference, the Articles of "Innovation China" Consortium (Draft), and the Establishment Plan of the Council of the "Innovation China" Consortium and the List of Proposed Members of the First Council were voted through.

Under the active advocacy of China Association for Science and Technology, the "Innovation China" Consortium is an open, non-profit and unincorporated organization initiated and established by relevant enterprises, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, industrial parks, investment and financing institutions and other various innovative subjects in the fields of government, industry, universities, scientific research institutions, finance, services, users. The Consortium follows the principles of "equality and mutual benefit, win-win cooperation, resource sharing and risk sharing", promotes the cross-border cooperation, creates an innovation ecology, builds a whole chain of technical services and trading system, explores organizational models and operational mechanisms for accelerating the transformation and application of innovative results, facilitates deeper integration of science and technology with the economy, and serves regional industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality economic and social development.
